Indians in Kuwait continued to crowd foreign exchange centers across the country to send money home yesterday as the Indian rupee plummeted to an all-time low against the dollar. A Kuwaiti dinar fetched 192.30 rupees yesterday, a record low for the Indian currency while a dollar traded for 54 rupees.

The Cabinet on Tuesday cleared the National Council of Human Resources in Health (NCHRH) Bill that allows doctors who hold the Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) status to work in India. Study indicates increase in crime rates in Kuwait

Kuwait salaries up 5% on average over past year

Non paying landline subscribers in Kuwait to face cut-off

KUWAIT: Landlines subscribers should pay their bills or face service cut-offs this month, said the Ministry of Communication on Monday. The Ministry’s head of Public Relations Ahmad Ramadan told the press, the systematic cut-off of the phone services will be preceded by two warning sms text messages on December 11-18 before actually terminating the service on December 25th.
