KUWAIT: Contrary to earlier reports, it seems that shrimp-fishing will indeed resume in Kuwaiti waters, beginning from tomorrow. The announcement of the end to the shrimp-fishing ban from the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) is likely to please the public, as well as fishermen and staff at the fish market, with the latter suggesting on Saturday that the move would see shrimp prices fall by at least a quarter.
