An eight year old boy Abhijit is missing from his home in Salmiya since this evening. Abhijit is student of Carmel School and stays in the building where Wah Ji Wah restaurant is located. The boy’s father Sajith works at Al Mazaya Holding Co Kuwait and hails from Kozhikode (Calicut), India.

Colorful Hala February festival begins

Kuwait Gulf Oil inks gas deal with France Technip

McDonald’s-Kuwait sponsors Kuwait Riders Motorcycle Club

McDonald’s-Kuwait has made an agreement with the Kuwait Riders Motorcycle Club to be their official sponsor for their road-safety awareness tour in Kuwait. The Kuwait Riders tour will be stopping at many of McDonald’s 63 branches in Kuwait, and using the restaurants as venues for their road-safety awareness expedition.

Indian Ambassador: Death of Deepali Joshi tragic and unfortunate

KUWAIT: Celebrated Indian singer Deepali Joshi Shah, 35, died in a gruesome car crash on Friday night in Kuwait. Her manager Ishaal Naqvi, who sustained serious wounds in the accident, is battling for his life at Farwaniya Hospital.

Kuwait inks deals to buy nine more oil tankers

Kuwait is planning to sign contracts with oil tanker builders for nine new tankers, a senior Kuwait Oil Tankers Company has said. The deals will be inked over the next month as part of the company’s bid to enlarge and modernise its tanker fleet, Nabil Bouresly, chairman and managing director of the state-run KOTC, said.

537 wells drilled at North Kuwait for heavy crude

Hosnia Hashim, Deputy MD for North Kuwait at KOC, says 537 wells have been drilled from a planned 200. Kuwait’s drive to develop its heavy crude resources in the North has surpassed its original goals, with a total of 537 wells drilled at northern fields bearing heavy crude.

Three women arrested in Kuwait for being naked under abayas

Shoppers in a shopping complex in Salmiya, Kuwait, were shocked when police arrived to arrest three young women who were found to be naked under their abayas. According to police sources quoted in the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai, two of the women were from Gulf countries, whilst the third was a Kuwaiti; one was a minor.

Visit to work visa transfer soon for public sector projects
