Eid holiday is expected to begin next Thursday
Kuwait: Civil Service Commission issued a memorandum regarding the Eid holiday, where it announced that it will be four days if Eid begins Thursday September 9th and that Sunday will be off to compensate Friday. Employees will go back to work on Monday September 13th.
However, if Eid begins on Friday, the holiday will be five days, since Thursday will be off as per Cabinet decree number 252 that stipulates that the 30th day of Ramadan is off every year. Employees will go to work on Tuesday September 14th.
