Kuwait – Kuwaiti meteorologist Essa Ramadan expected on Monday a decrease in humidity during this week in most desert areas. The outskirts of Kuwait City, remaining only at coastal areas in the evening due to sea breezes, temperatures are also expected to decrease at night.

Ramadan told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that humidity at coastal areas will decrease by morning due to the desert dry westerly breeze, which will cool the air and make it more pleasant outdoors at night.

He noted that high temperatures and sunny days will continue with maximum temperature ranging between 43-48 degrees Celsius, with relative humidity between 10-60 percent.

Ramadan said that the relative humidity, which lasted several days caused exhaustion and tiredness during the Holy month of Ramadan, despite the low maximum temperatures to 41 degrees Celsius.

He also referred that (Sohail) days will continue till September 19, where weather is known to be hot during the day and cool during the night, with northwesterly winds. Ramadan said that on those days, begins the period which is known locally as (Asfari), increasing the risk of allergies and asthma and spread of conjunctivitis and gastroenteritis in all of this because of the disparity in temperature between day and night and increasing the repercussions of heat in September.

September is an autumn month in Kuwait, during which birds migrate from the northern hemisphere in North Asia to escape the coming winter to the lines of supply in Africa, India and Pakistan in search of water and food.

Ramadan expects the weather in September to be windy and dusty with the beginning of the climatic changes and formations of cumulus clouds thunderstorms in Iraq, causing strong winds and dust in various areas include Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

The humidity was a welcome change (for me). Love the sweat and secondly the dust eased off. Give me humidity to the dust any day!
