1,300,000 KD for eight new hospitals

Kuwait: The Ministry of Public Works Undersecretary for Civil Engineering Hossam Al-Tahous announced that the ministry is planning to build eight new hospitals, with a capacity of 600 beds, at a total cost of 1,300,000 Kuwaiti dinars. He added that the execution process will take six years.

On the other hand, Al-Jahra Hospital received 10 wounded Iraqis, most of them children wounded during the recent bombings, after receiving instructions from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Sabah, where some cases will be transferred to specialized hospitals, such as Al-Razi and Al-Babtain.

Al-Jahra Health Zone Manager Fahad Al-Khalifa stated that all cases are stable and that the wounds are mainly burns and fractures. He added that they received full medical assistance upon their arrival to the hospital, in addition to providing accommodation to their escorts near Al-Jahra Hospital.
