Petronet issues two fuel smart cards in cooperation with Al-Oula
Pre-paid petrol card provider Petronet announced Sunday the launch of pre-paid card and post-paid petrol credit cards in cooperation with Kuwaiti private petrol firm Al-Oula.
Petronet’s Head of Public Affairs Ahmad Al-Eid told a press conference that the two cards will benefit Al-Oula users, adding that they will target both people and companies.
The pre-paid cards are split into the categories; KD 20, KD 25, KD 30, KD 40, KD 50 and KD 100, with a expiry period of six months for all different types of fuel, he said. An issuance fee of half a dinar to a dinar will be added according to the credit amount.
The pre-paid card will also provide other services like a statement of all purchases made using the card, the location of the purchase, amount and type of fuel purchased.
