Clive Worth, a British ex-miner, has taken credit for sleeping with about 1,500 women he met online. The Huffington Post reported that Worth claims 300 of them have been through the social networking site Facebook. But now he has told Metro UK that he’s been thrown off Facebook.

He has also claims to have been booted from plentyoffish.com, datingdirect.com, and match.com.

Now he’s back posing as a woman to get around the Facebook ban, using the name Carol Peters and using a photo of model Coralie Robinson on his profile. He told Metro that he hopes it will attract more women.

"Facebook don’t give me a reason anymore, they just remove me," he said to the Metro. He said he chose to call himself Carol on Facebook because that was the name of his first girlfriend, who he was with when he was 10.

He did not share how he thinks posing as a woman would get him more dates.

Worth, 60, claims he has about three or four dates a week and collects undergarments as trophies. He said his Facebook profile has been removed four times.

A Facebook spokesman replied that the social networking site is "not the place to meet people you don’t know." The site promotes itself as being a place to connect and share with existing friends.

Worth is an old pro at online dating, and his brushes with online sites goes back at least five years. According to BBC News story from 2004, DatingDirect.com dumped Worth from its database saying he "lacks commitment."

He said then that he had done nothing wrong. The dating site told him it had received complaints because people had traveled to meet him and wanted commitment, which he wasn’t interested in.

The agency had told BBC it had put Worth in touch with 119 women in five years, though he had put the number closer to 200.

At the time he had told the BBC that he would keep going until he’s 80.
