Kuwait to build new maternity hospital

Kuwait – Kuwait’s health ministry has approved plans for building a new maternity hospital in Al-Sabah health area, Kuwait Times has reported.

The new 600-bed hospital, which will cost KD150m and be completed by 2016, is part of a plan to expand health services in the Gulf state to meet the projected rise in population by 2030.
