Filipinas killed by husband, employers
Kuwait – Two Filipinas were killed in Kuwait this week, one by her husband and the other by her employers.The Egyptian husband has reportedly stabbed his Filipina wife 31 times in front of her colleagues and customers at a woman’s salon in Jabriya. The victim died before paramedics reached the crime scene, a Kuwaiti Times report said. Related – Egyptian husband arrested.
The suspect fled and left the murder weapon as well as his shoe behind.Detailed description of the suspect has been given to various security checkpoints in the country. Friends and co-workers have reportedly said that the victim arrived recently from vacation in her hometown in Zamboanga in southern Philippines where she took her three children.
Another friend of the victim said the assailant apparently committed the crime in a fit of jealousy and in desperation because he did not want his wife to divorce him, the Kuwaiti daily said.
Maltreated maid
On Thursday, another Filipina, a domestic helper, was killed reportedly by the couple employing her.
According to reports, the Kuwaiti employer confessed that she and her husband maltreated the maid on a daily basis.
Fearing that the maid would die, they took her to a deserted area and crushed her under their vehicle to give the impression that she was had been run over by a motorist.

This is horrible! how can people do this?
yah! that is just shocking and unbelievable! I hope those savages are given the death sentence for their gruesome and heartless acts.
Imagine how helpless the poor girl might have been. They must have hurt her really bad cuz she must have been unconscious before they run her over. May she rest in peace.

This is nothing new,only the way of killing is different and its nothing less than an act of wild animal. No human feelings or emotions matter to these mindless and heartless creatures.
The other side of the story is, these were Phillipino and the embassy will immediately come into action and the govt will also do needful to punish the culprits. So many fellow Indians are suffering and most of the victims are the housemaids and what our embassador is doing????? Photosession, meetings and enjoying the life here.
So sad and disheartning….. as its been happening time and time and time again.

Just imagine the extreme torture this maid suffered and that also on a daily basis… So extreme that the next line of the news is “Fearing that the maid would die …” So extreme that she must have become unconscious and disabled…
Pure Human rights Violation of domestic maids. Although this is no new information and such events are happening of a daily basis in Kuwait (Just read the Crimes page of any daily newspaper in Kuwait),the intensity of the crime makes us perplexed and stunned.
