Kuwait – Public Relations Department Director at the Ministry of Communications (MoC) Ahmed Ramadan has advised the landline telephone subscribers with overdue bill payments to settle their debts before March 28 to avoid automatic disconnection of the service, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Ramadan said the ministry will send SMS messages to the defaulters — those with KD 50 or more unpaid bills for residential phone subscribers and KD 100 or more for commercial phone subscribers — on Sunday as the first warning, followed by another on March 21, which is considered as the final warning.

In case of failure to pay before March 28 despite the issuance of two notices, the ministry has no option but to cut the telephone lines, he warned.
