MoI busts biggest home grown Marijuana (Pot) farm in Kuwait

9tc7csds8bKuwait – Interior Ministry personnel busted a citizen for growing the biggest marijuana farm ever found in Kuwait at his home garden in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Area, the ministry reported on Tuesday. A ministry statement said the bust was made after receipt of intelligence and after a secret source verified the accuracy of the tip.

Evidence was collected and proper procedures taken to make the arrest.
The team assigned to the case included junior and senior officers as well as administrative staff to prepare for the bust, and all those who visited the house, in Al-Qesoor, were tailed and their identities investigated, in addition to those living in the house.

The raid was made late Monday night after securing the required warrants, and the owner of the house was arrested "under the influence" and in possession of a number of Marijuana plants, both in the garden and in dried form.

Different planting pots were also found with seedlings and a big quantity of just picked plants was also found at the house.

The arrestee is now facing legal questioning by the concerned authorities, the statement said.
