Kuwait – Security forces have finally managed to unravel the identity of the murderer of an Indian woman who was killed and left in a garbage dump in Hawalli. It was established that a compatriot of the victim was behind the grisly murder case.The murderer has reportedly been arrested within 48 hours of committing the gruesome crime thanks to the efforts of Hawalli Criminal Investigations Department officers. The swift location of the culprit underscores the strength of the country’s security services.

Initial investigations led officers to a flat believed to be illegally used as a brothel and was found near the victim’’s home, as the latter reportedly frequented there prior to her murder. It was established that the suspicious flat was run by one “Ashraf.” In light of this information, the latter was arrested for investigation.

Over the course of two days he was subjected to intensive questioning, after which he confessed to having committed the crime. He told investigators that he had drank wine that fateful night with his brother and that he was facing financial difficulties. He said that he went to the suspicious flat where a number of prostitutes gathered, where he saw the victim.

“I forced her into one room to have sex with me even though she resisted,” the alleged murderer admittedly said. He added that following this he used a knife to stab his victim repeatedly before covering her and leaving her in the garbage dump. Based on this confession, the suspect was referred to public prosecutors.
