Kuwait Embassy in New Delhi celebrates National & Liberation days
New Delhi – Kuwait’s Embassy in India marked the anniversary of the country’s 49th National Day and the 19th Liberation Day with a reception attended by top Indian officials and members of the diplomatic missions in New Delhi.Kuwait’s Ambassador to New Delhi Samie Al-Sulaiman told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the sidelines of the event that the participation of the local community symbolizes strong relations between the two countries.
He added, the attendance of Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and other state officials, in addition to diplomatic missions in New Delhi symbolizing the unique Kuwaiti-Indian relations.
On this occasion, he extended his congratulations to the Kuwaiti leadership, government and people, and recounted India’s solid stance when Kuwait was invaded in August of 1990, until its liberation seven months later.
