Expat businessmen to obtain self-sponsorship
Kuwait:-Eligibility for self-sponsorship in Kuwait will only be available to expatriate businessmen with KD 100,000 or more invested in Kuwaiti firms, as well as other official certification, according to a senior Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MSAL) official.
The self-sponsorship system, under Article 19 of Kuwaiti immigration law, will only be available to those meeting the above criteria, reported Al-Shahed.
All applicants must also provide detailed company balance sheets for the previous two ye
ars, while the company in question must have been official licensed for at least two years.
