Hello n welcome to Q8NRI....monicalele.
Hmmm....as for skool admissions...I think most of them are over by now....since the classes for the new academic year will start, in less than, a week's time.
The forms for new admissions, wud hav been given out....3 months ago. I think it wud be really hard to fidn a seat in the limited skools tat is available here.
Btw...for which standard, are you looking out for...???

I have just re-registered my kids, so admissions for external students should also be going on right now. This list has almost all the schools covered. Since this is not a decision to be taken lightly, my suggestion would be to visit each school, check out the campus, their student mix (very important for your child to get properly integrated), and of course, the fees. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_schools_in_KuwaitI believe BSK and NES are the most expensive, with the rest close behind.

For BSK, the fees will be around KD 4000/- for one year (excluding books and other miscellaneous costs).

On a totally unrelated note, I had a real cracker of an experience while trying to get admission to Don Bosco school for my kid. http://sun2.wordpress.com/2011/01/04/wt ... ol-kuwait/ My Son goes to Bhavans, though it's far from Salmiya, best part about Bhavans is they keep us informed via emails all the time (even when the child is absent you get a mail within 1 hour) and all the syllabus which has been taught is put up on their website. and best of all NO HOMEWORK till 1st std (yey! totally win )
