The New Lulu...a Glorified version...Target Audience=Citizens/WhitesOn Road 40 aka Magreb or King Fahad Highway-take Exit 208 and keep to Ur Left...U wont miss it. Ample parking space. 3 Floors of Shopping...with lots of International Brands especially in the Food section. Offers in a Booklet...but No real Offers. Fresh Produce section looks like its been Air-brushed...every freakin Carrot and Cucumber is kept in Angle...!!! No Market Feel like the Old Lulu...I miss that...!!! Management is catering to the Correct Demographic here...and has done a good job coz I saw lots of Locals and Whites alike. Oh...their Hot Foods section does not have the same Yummy stuff...the other Lulu provides...U know...Kerala Beef fry etc...just a Showcase of Indian food...like Biryani and Kababs...!!! Oh Btw...No Coupons and 24 Hour Exchange Rules...and cant exchange somethin U bought at the other Lulu here...sorry...No Link it seems...whatever that means...!!! Will I go back there again...???...No need to...unless I need some Exclusive International item from the Food section. Worth one visit...Enjoy...!!!

I like your use of smilies and exclamations! Nice review though, its short and simple but I think it would have been better if you snapped some pictures as well. Especially of the those international food brands or stuff you haven't seen in the other Lulu or of anything that catches your eye. Its a good thing that the place has more of the locals and whities unlike the other Lulu which is a 24/7 microcosmic Kerala!

I was in Qurain yesterday but on another assignment and couldn't drop in on Lulu. What kind of international food brands are you talking about? Cold cuts, cheeses, smoked meats, wines? Speaking of which, does anyone know a good brand of smoked salmon? like the ones you get in Coffee Bean's sandwiches.

I used to bring smoked turkey for my salads, but after reading this article and realizing that "smoked meat" is not really smoked, I have been a bit more cautious about eating smoked meats. http://eatlikemira.com/2010/07/12/smoke ... they-safe/

Taurus wrote: Wines...???...LOL...Wishful thinking early mornin...!!! well not quite, TSC Salmiya has a nice collection of white and red wines, you should try it. They're non-alcoholic but still good with a nice dinner. Also works well in a Bolognese sauce Taurus wrote: Ah...Ur a Gourmet Guy...Nice...will check out that Salmon for U...!!! merci beaucoup
