Ok...now am relaxed and less tensed. But the thot of the incident (tat happened earlier)....makes my body shiver and anger hormones rise up.

Wat happened..??? (you wud be asking?).

Well...today morn..while coming to work....I had to take the free right at the traffic lights...to reach the office. Cars n (many) buses were on the 1st n 2nd lanes....leaving the 3rd for the free right users. I took tat n was driving at moderate speed...and as i approached the front end of a bus.....all of a sudden....a bloody mature filipina...all decked up in black jeans, jacket, dark sun-glasses n all....literally jumped from the bus...right in front of my Maggie...!!!

I mean, how dumb can one get...?? Doesn't she know tat she is going to get off (which first of all is not allowed)...onto the road...with incoming traffic....???

I slammed on the brakes n hit the horns....long n hard. She too, got the scare of her life...and jumped at the sight of the car and jus looked once...before scampering away....while I stayed put, for a good minute or so....eyeing her...angrilly...(of course).

I mean, a nano-second either way...she wud hav been hit by the front of my Maggie or she wud hav fallen 'plunck' on my Maggie's bonnet or door. It was sheer luck, tat saved her (and me)....and also saved both of us, from any un-expected and un-wanted and un-invited problems....early in the morn.

In all my years of driving here...this was the first time tat such a thing happened...and it really gav me a scare tat nearly resulted in a cardiac arrest n gave me the shivers....tat lasted for a long time....even after reaching office. I really wanted to her.

Anyways...am glad tat no un-toward incident happened...and was (n still am) glad to know tat 'Someone up there'...still loves me.

Glad to know that your Maggie came out of the incident unscathed!!

Joking aside - that was quick reflexes on your side to prevent anything serious happening to the poor girl. Good job.
