Hey guys !

My residence is up for renewal and i was told by Mandoob that "since my Kafeel is from Emirates' there is new law in order that the company must pay 250KD per employee to 'Ministry of shoon' account and then only the residence will be stamped.

Now I checked with 'Burger bank' .. they suck totally .. no one has a clue WTF i am talking about.

Just in case if you guys have heard about this stubid rule or can confirm with your Mandoob and let me know .

There was a proposal of Kd 200 or 250/- per staff as a security to MOSAL but I am not sure, its been implemented or not. If its been asked then it would have been implemented for NON Kuwaity but Arab (GCC) sponsors who are either from UAE, Saudi, Oman etc etc. If its a genuine visa and you are working with the same company then ur sponsor has to pay the amount otherwise you will end up paying this.

My company is a good company, God bless the owner. He is willing to pay the money.. the problem is the mandoob does not know which account No (of shoon) to pay the money or how to go about it.

Here's an update..

Finally after calling the Burgan bank repeatedly and misinformed every time we wrote mail to Burgan bank HO and some one called and gave us the guarantee papers and we were told that the amount is KD250/- . Papers were duly sent to our H.O in dubai and after much dillidangling the papers came back after 10 days. I went up to the bank head office in city, whadyuknow.. i was sent back saying the papers should be filled in Arabic and not in English.. so i go back fill it up in arabic side of it, head to Burgan bank in the choatic traffic, Whadyuknow .. the lady now says .. the 'other paper' should mention the amount KD275/- and not 250 as was said before... WTF??? she said i am sorry i should have checked the papers when you came the first time ... what a bia...

Now my papers gone back to Dubai again (sent via email) but big boss won't sign unless he receive back the first set of papers..anyways long story short.. i have residence till 5th.. I have asked the Mandoob to extend my residence temporarily .. which he said he will do it this week... I hope he can get it done.. if not .. i'm gonna sit at home and wonder what will happen to me next... pretty depressed

Only thing to say as of now that DON'T GET DEPRESSED, IT WON'T HELP. There are certain things in life which you just can't control or help. Just relax and enjoy this phase.... Everything will be pretty fine soon..........real soon.

Finally my papers are arriving from Dubai (with a warning letter not to mess up things again) .. lets hope burgan bank will get it done this time

wtf.. why.. its not ur fault that the system is f**ked

^ People in Dubai expect Kuwait system to be perfect like theirs ... thats the problem

BTW it isn't a warning letter... just a warning mail sorry for the fvck up

Update: Spent 4 fvcking hours at the bank (9am to 12.40pm) at the Burger Bank H.Q .. finally after much excruciatingly painful wait (read watching people who came after me finish their work) got my papers. Meanwhile Mandoob called to say that the company file is closed due to the fact that one of my colleague (still) don't have a bank account (WTF!) but good news is he stamped my residence for one month. Meanwhile company has finally relented and agreed to open account for the guy and hopefully things should sort out by then

Right now waiting for the Mandoob to handover me the Passport. From tomorrow will be roaming with my passport ! Fvck!
