Hi good morning....everyone,

The short Ramadan working hours is coming to an end....slowly. Around 10 days left for Eid. I was beginning to adjust myself n our daily routine....on its stride....and now the feeling tat its going to come to an end is giving me a sinking feel. Ah well....all good things (n times) hav to come to an end. Sigh....

Anyways....dont wanna screw up ur mind, with thise despairing thots....but make the max of wat is at hand....the present...today...n enjoy every moment.

Wishing all a great day ahead.

Yesterday evening...our daily chakkars, led to the IKEA store, at the Avenues. Naah...not to purchase any stuffs....but to get an insight n idea abt how and wats new in the way rooms are set-up....esp space saving accessories n things for the kicthen n bathroom. Nothing much from the stuffs tat we hav seen last....but still got some fair amount of idea and woke up the dormant thinking capacity.

We went there around 7pm....jus after iftar....since they open only at 7:30 during Ramadan. Their restaurant was open for iftar but not the showroom. Even though the aroma n the sight of ppl having their breakfast n even though we werent tat hungry....the sight did make us and the kids hungry.

We skipped it and headed to the showroom. After a 2 hour walk around n discussion...while the kids played trampoline on their sofas (was wondering why they needed tat mechanised contraption to highlight the sturdiness of their sofas)...when there were 'real' kids like our lil one, jumping up n down on their displayed items...and their lil 'play-stations' scattered around the place. Anyways...by the time we exited...we were pretty tired n hungry too. Headed straight to their mini snack outlet, at the exit n ordered some chicken shawarmas, pepsi n ice-creams. Must admit...we are beginning to fall in love with their shawarmas. I think their's is the only shawarma joint in Avenues tat is so cheap n very filling too. 250 fils only....!!!! I mean....the chicken shawarmas of Lulu are 300 fils each. And we can hav free refills of pepsi too (jus as their restaurant). Their ice-cream too is deliciously nice....both chocolate n the strawberry one. On our next trip...we plan to try out their 'hot dog' and their frozen yogurt.

Pretty quiet in here....

Looks like members are migrating or re-locating or simply....avoiding themselves, from this place.

Am sure they (the Cameroonians) had 'other' plans while preparing themselves, for the London Olympics. ;)

Actually...from the onset....I was waiting for such news....but was expecting some (atheletes) from countries, more closer to Kuwait or North Korea.
