Yesterday evening we had to pay a visit to the hospital, to visit a friend, who had jus under-gone an operation. The kids too were with us n as usual, the lil one was very hyperly active....shouting, running around the corridors etc etc. Finally, we had to drag her n ourselves from there, before they threw us out, for disturbing the peace n the patients.
Passed by CC-Dajeej....(again)...to chek on the upper floor...the Kids Area n the Food Court. The kids area, had a few contraptions similar to sports cars, bikes, helicopters, some cartoon characters...and even a Hummer...tat made noises n flashed colorful lights tat made us feel, as if, we were in some kinda disco-bar...tat was playing only 'punk rock' music. And with a price tat ranges between 200-300 fils/contraption, its another quick way, to siphon off, money from 'poor' parents....like me.
The Food Court, was partially occupied n some businesses were already up n running and was eagerly waiting for customers. There were few signs on some shutters tat read 'opening soon'. The red/white seats were devoid of any customers....unlike the food courts at Avenues....and was mostly filled up, by the cleaners, taking a break n some stall workers.
Most of the business tat were open were new, I assume, as I had not heard abt them b4....except for one familiar one....Pepe's Pizza. There was one Indian shop with curries n rice all displayed out.....The Nizam's Grill or something like tat....but we dint buy anything. Also there is a coffee shop tat sells snacks like sandwichs n capuchinnos. All in all....a good place to hav a cuppa coffee or dinner...instead of waiting in line for parking n then a seat....without much crowd...n somewhere close to home.....instead of going to the Avenues or 360 or even the airport mall....for some chit chat over a coffee.
I'm sure....it (the CC-Dajeej food court) will be frequented by us....frequently.
