Finally its the weekend. So...??? For me every work-day, is more or less, like the weekend. No hassles, no fuss...no tensions.....no nothing. Come to office....chit chat with colleagues....hav some coffee (in the kitchen)....smoke (in our private smoke room).....browse the net....talk to myself on CCC....and come 2pm....get ready to go home. And most importantly....get paid at the end of the month. Wat more can a guy ask for...???

How many of you (out there) are, as lucky as I am....???

Ya...I know how u feel....coz in the beginning, (of my tenure here, years ago)...it was more or less, like tat....and every 'thoum', 'deek' n 'harryees' (arab version of tom, dick n harry), were using me, as the 'punching bag'.

But Lady Luck was kind to me....and things changed, as time and years passed by. Now I kick-ass (lightly of course) the arabs...and it feels good.

got my son's birth certificate and got it attested at Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Then have to apply for a passport on Saturday.

Mabrook on the certificate n attestation. Good luck with the passport application. Remember u will need his thumb impression ( I believe its the right hand) for tat. Of course, Classic typing center guys will fill u, with all tat details.

Hey guys.....did u know tat City Center, has opened up at Dajeej, Farwania....??? And its open 24hrs.

No I havent been there nor hav seen it (from the 6th ring road) but from their flyer, I believe its the same place where the old Sultan Center's Wholesale Center was....before they moved to their present location.

Heard tat Lulu is also planning to open up a branch at Dajeej, also. Hmmm...guess Dajeej, in Farwania is going to be a 'hot-spot', for hypermarkets, tats focusing on the residents of Farwania, Khaitan, J'leeb, Ishbilya, Rabya and a whole lot of other nearby places....rather than wat they were famous for....viz furniture n house-hold accessories. Moreover, their flyer mentions tat there is a Kid's play area and food court too. Now tats really.......cooooolll.

The other thing tat I noticed in their flyer is tat it states tat....parking wud be free for CC customers...!!!?? When we used to go to SC...(long ago)...I used to park, at the free parking area, adjacent to the 6th ring road. Guess it has been converted to a 'paid parking', now.

Wat happened...??? No one buying any tickets...???

Speaking abt flying...did u read in the news tat the KU flight to Jeddah had some issues recently...and it was the second in less than a month....???

Also heard from my boss tat last week....the counter staff, at the airport, left ppl waiting in line, (near the counters)....until they returned after breaking their fast....!!!???

I thot KIA was an international airport tat dealt with international flights n passengers...???
How cud they let ppl wait inline n delay flights from taking off in time (or landing even)....during Ramadan....????

Passed by Salmiya Souk yesterday evening. Since its Ramadan shops n places, opens up and get to fill-up only after 7 or 7:30 pm. When we reached there....ata roudn 7:20, we had the whole parking lot, at our disposal to park anywhere we felt like....or wished to.

After doing some shopping at the shops on the ground floor n later in CC....we left the place, at around 9:30. It took me nearly 15-20 minutes, jus to get out of the freaking parking.

There were cars parked in the middle of the road, on the curbs, alongside the curbs everywhere n all of them were inside the paid parking lot....???

Arent paid parking lots supposed to stop the entry of cars once its filled up...??? Or is it their way of making extra money, by letting in....all the cars...???
