Hello n good morning everyone... Another weekend at our doorsteps.....and maan...do I really need a break from this harrowing n strenuous work. Dunno why....but the week seemed to hav zoomed away....pretty fast.  Jus back from renewing my lil one's residence. Now she is a legal resident for 1 more year. In n out of the Immigration office in less than 30 minutes. The routines are as smooth as eva. (Infact I hav neva faced any un-toward delays nor hassles, even before). I think the main reason behind this is...if u hav ur papers in order...everything will go off smoothly....and the typing guys (in Keralafornia) is doing a good job, in tat...must admit. The main thing is tat apart from filling up the application forms....they arrange all the required copies of pp n civil IDs n all...in such a manner tat its in the exact order, the guys at the immigration office wants. Anyways...leave all tat. So wat plans for the weekend?

I just renew for 3 years to avoid the hassle of going there every year. But as you said, the process is pretty smooth now-a-days. 30 minute tops - if all the papers are in order.
The only reason I got a little delayed last time I went there is I put in 30 KD in the stamp machine, and it stopped after 2 stamps with my balance 10 KD still in there. Had to call a technician and wait till he came and sorted out the matter.
