Well as for me....I dint do much. Infact nothing....not even the usual outing....nor any cooking experiments...absolutely nothing. Why...??? Come to think of it...I really dunno...!!!?? Spent most of the day jus lazying around....watching TV most of the time. Of course apart from helping the kids with lessons....nothing else. I simply wasted the whole weekend. Hmmm....now when I think abt it....maybe it was the night-duty tat my wifey had....tat must hav hampered the weekend mood n motivation. Hmmm....yes...tat must be it. In short....when someone said tat, "behind every (successful) man, there is a woman (to motivate him)"....am sure he must hav been a 'dumb lazy horse' tat, needed a 'spiked' kick, on its sides, (to get him moving)....jus like me....!!!!

Hey JB, Lazing around during the weekend is the best way to recover from the hardships of daily office work.
As for me, the only thing I did was this great beef steak tenderloin. My brother showed me the trick of cooking the perfect steak. It turned out so good, my son had double helpings, and even my daughter who goes "meh" when it comes to steak, finished her plate.
Now that I have mastered the art, I plan to do this more often during the weekend.

I fried it - but the method of frying is using super heated pan and oil - so that the pan catches fire when you drop the steak and the steak gets the searing fire burn on top. Frying time is less than 30 seconds, but you need to cut the steak in thin strips. Nothing added except a dash of salt and ground pepper. And of course, always use the best steak you can get hold of. I used the USDA certified veal tenderloin.

I followed Mr. Rob... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g02kjx4G ... re=relatedAs for the steak...it was some 'aussie or kiwi', meat. The problem with mine...was it jus got a bit 'over-done'....and the knife jus dint slice thru effortlessly...but instead, I had to practically 'saw' it to bite size. Oh btw...using garlic n butter, to flavour the steak....was jus awesome.
