Done with lunch.

This is the first time....(I think...cant recall any other similar occasion)....when I had a fruit, for lunch.

And wat was it...(u may ask)?.

A green apple....for a change.

But to tell u frankly....no matter wat these health freaks say or blabber abt its nutritious effects....etc etc....I feel as if, I havn't had anything (substancial) to fill my tummy....even though, my tummy, doesnt feel too heavy nor too light.

You know....like something is missing. I cant pin it down to anything in particular.....but there is still something amiss...on how I feel, after having the usual (meaty or fried or even plain veggie) lunch....in office.

A fruit is not meant to replace your lunch. It should be eaten in addition to your lunch. Which health freak told you it is okay to eat just fruits for lunch?

Just finished my lunch. A can of Tuna mixed with chopped onions, green chillies, coriander, and tomato with a dash of light mayo and ketchup. The whole thing placed on 2 slices of whole wheat brown bread.

Now THAT is a healthy lunch.

hey welcome back to the forum Cajie!
Just saw your pork and pineapple photo! The drool emoticon is not sufficient to express whats in my mind now
Surprisingly enough pineapple somehow goes well with BBQ's meat. I had a 'Hawai'an' burger from a place in Trivandrum once and it had a beef patty with a slice of grilled pineapple. Was gooooood!

'nuf talk! off to lunch
