Hello n a very good morning to all... A dusty morning greets us....on this Labour Day. Hope you all....(unlike me)....are geared up, to meet the 'laborious' challenges, tat the day has to offer.  So how is everyone today...?

Jus wasnt my 'Day for Bettings'.....yesterday. First I lost the bet, with my dau. KKR won.  Then, lost the bet with Triga. Manchester City won.  Managed to watch almost till the end of the 1st half....but dint wait or get to see the only goal, of the game.  Lesson learnt. Next time...place the bet....on the team tat I really want to 'lose'.

The IPL 5.0 n the teams...esp KKR, hav been a major hit, with my eldest dau....this year. ('peer pressure'...!!!???). Anyways....she recites the 'Campus News', for the skool assembly...when its her class' turn. The news, is usually compiled n edited (by a teacher or sir) and given to the concerned student, a day or 2, before the assembly date. Incidently....it got delayed and she was given the news, on the very same day....infact, jus minutes, before the start of the assembly. She dint even get a chance to go thru or run a practice recitation...which they usually do. To cut things short....she went up the stage....faced the 2000 odd seniors n juniors crammed, in the hall...of course, along with the teachers, VP n Princi etc. She started off.....and mid-way...she read..."CSK won the annual inter-school basket ball tournament, held....err...eh...oh....blah blah blah". A un-eventful and usual recitation...invited stares n wide-eyes from the un-interested audience....coz she got distracted by tat news n she stammered a bit....in front of the whole skool. Reason: The mention 'CSK'....suddenly made her think..."since when did Chennai Super Kings started to play basketball and tat too inter-skool championships....!!!???" Only after a few milli-seconds, did she realize tat CSK, stood for Carmel Skool Kuwait n not Chennai Super Kings.
