Hi everyone,

A new day and a new week. Good morning everybody.

First of all...let me thank all you, for ur kind n good wishes n greetings, for reminding me, tat I got a year older. It was nice to know tat, friends n relatives, still remembered to wish me (thanx to all the latest "b'day reminder" sites n softwares)....on my special day. Infact, I was hoping for a surprise party with many expensive gifts, special treats or atleast a 'toffee'....but all I got, were calls, missed calls (so tat I return the call ), e-mail greets, sms', greetings on my FB wall and via everything n anything, tat was for free.

Anyways, no regrets...like they say....something betta than nothing. Atleast you all, took the trouble, to spent a few minutes, atleast to sit down in front of the PC or lappy, to jot down couple of words...for me....on my birthday. And tat gesture, itself, is more precious n valued, by me, than any expenisve gifts or presents. (Of course, now if someone wanted to or still wants to gift me a Ferrari or a Hayabusa, then rest assured tat, I wudn't be so modest n return it back to you...no way).

Anyways....thank you all, for ur wonderful n kind greetings...once again.

Of course, there was a cake....a ready-made McCain's Chocolate Delight....from the supermarket....and tat too, to the liking of my lil one.

I had given her the 'Power of Attorney', to choose, wateva she wanted, for my birthday. She wanted to buy me gifts...such as dolls n girlie stuffs, too.....(which she knows will eventually end up in her personal 'toys loot')...but I refused. She even wanted to call her (neighba) friends over, to come n sing 'Happy Birthday' to me.

As for the other two ladies....they plan to buy me something soon....(when? I really dunno...!!!). Cudnt do it before the auspicious day....as wifey, was busy with her duty n all n we cudnt make time for shopping. But the good part is tat....its still on...most probably this weekend. (I hope they dont forget. ).

Hey SM. Good to know tat the mild tremor, tat occured couple of days ago, dint cause any serious damage.

I wonder if them, tall buildings in Mumbai, are earth-quake proof....???

I'm sure u all must hav heard abt the SRK detention at NY...couple of days ago.

To me, it looks as if...someone in the Homeland Security Dept, dont like him much nor his films.

Ok...the first time around....u cud say tat, it was their (the americans) lack of knowledge of the Bollywood stars....except for Patel n Freida.

The second time around....maybe it was a 'boo-boo'...as is, we humans err n the americans...(espcially)...'err'....as evident in their 'foreign' matters/affairs.

But this time around.....I'm sure, it wasnt a mistake nor an error in the system or anything....but the real deal...to get back at him n his dumb flicks.

My (eldest) dau...rarely (or u cud say neva) watches the news much...but on tat day, she was watching the hourly news......every hour...!!!!

Though, I hate his movies... he is quite charming in person (at the time of Asoka, unassuming too... though, I dunno if that's changed). And has a weird habit of wearing sun-shades indoors (and it was late evening)

I meant... cake and candy for us!
