Another indicator that the economy is not doing well. An increase in the world's oldest profession. Unfortunate. My prayers are with those trapped in this. And may the perpetrators benefitting from these wretched souls, burn in hell for ever and ever. http://new.kuwaittimes.net/2012/03/05/i ... in-kuwait/

Tell a lie long enough and people will eventually start to believe it. Headline: Employment conditions set to become more favorable – Kuwait economy better than before http://new.kuwaittimes.net/2012/03/05/e ... an-before/

While on the subject of economy n investment....early in the morn I got a call from, my cousin, back home.
Seems tat a letter (from Unit Trust of India) addressed to my mom...stating tat the UTI scheme, in which she had invested...had matured in 2002 (!!!) and if she dont claim it, before the 31st of this month...it wud be dumped into the 'un-claimed' accounts. And as per my cousin...it wud take a hell lotta running around...to get it claimed back again.
Dint know wat to feel? Happy or sad?
Well this was not the first time, tat such letters were recieved with a surprise n widened eyes. It happened a lot..when my dad expired. In those days, almost everyone, took life easy and for granted n savings n letting others (esp family) know abt it, was the least thing in their minds. He dint even hav nominees mentioned in his deposits or savings. We had to do the whole legal works, to claim it back.
Later my mom used to follow suit and from the experience in running up n down offices, she wud mention either one of our names as nominees...and even jotted all this in a diary. Guess she must hav missed this one out.
I'm sure this one hav my name as the nominee....hence my cousin informed me. Wonder wat I shud do with the matured amount, once its claimed? Save it? Use it for some personal matter? Or donate it?

Today morning...I left home (for work)...without waking up the lillest one, as she was sound asleep n dint wanted to disturb her...by waking her jus to say...'bye bye'. 5 minutes...into the drive...I get a call from home. On answering it....heard my lil one's 'sobbing' voice, asking me....why I dint say 'bye bye' to her, before leaving...??? It was like a big slap on my face. Felt very sad for not keeping my end of the promise.
