A very good morning to all CCCians, silent readers and of course, the absconding n missing persons. The beginning of a new month n the last day. before the start of an extended weekend. Weather-wise...jus perfect. A bit of wettness, cool breeze, sun hiding behind the clouds...and the waves playing 'catch me if u can', with the shore....up yonder. Wat more can u ask for? How abt a some garma garam pakodas n a cuttin chai...???  And to make things even betta.....less TRAFFIC...on the roads.

Another 2 n half hrs to go for the first T20 match between India n Aus. Wish I had my 42" LCD TV here....sigh.

 Jus noticed it now....while looking at the Ministry of Info's calender. February has 29 days, which means 2012 is a leap year. Now the question looms....will the company us, for the extra day....???

From the AT. MELBOURNE, Feb 1, 2012 (AFP) -An Australian bus operator has stunned his employees by handing out Aus$15 million (US$15.9 million) in thank you bonuses, with workers saying Wednesday they were overwhelmed by his generosity.
Ken Grenda, 79, sold his family-run company after 66 years and decided to put a chunk of the profits into the pockets of his employees for their hard work and loyalty.
Many of his 1,800 workers thought their banks had made an error when they discovered thousands of dollars in their accounts, the Herald Sun reported.
They received an average $8,500 although some got bonuses as high as $100,000.
"A business is only as good as its people, and our people are fantastic," Grenda said.Must admit.....tat was a very nice gesture.  I only wish, our Big Boss wud........(ya, I know....will neva happen).
