Lightman: I bet Gillian said it was just what I need a couple of days in there.
Emily: A couple?
Lightman: Oye, enough of your lip.

Emily: Go on, tell me what happen.
Lightman: I nicked one of Amanda's muffins.
Emily: Why would you do that?
Lightman: Because it was sitting there looking all tasty.

Gillian: You attacked that orderly, can you tell me what was going through you mind at the time?
Lightman: the Bridge of his nose.

Marcus: You sure about this?
Lightman: Not in the slightest, mate.

And one of my personal favourites:

Dr: Do you always enjoy this level of antagonism?
Lightman: Yeah, it's like oxygen to me.

It is a harmless thing...
A way to remember b'days & anniversaries (most important feature for me... considering my memory)
A place to pretend to be in touch with people you'd normally not be able to be in touch with... an occasional "Hi!, Wassup?" or "Wow, You have a cute kid!" helps keep the social circle rolling. (You know.. Har ek dost zaroori hota hain!)

At least, I do not really make new friends there... I add people only once I know them.... or interact with them by other means.
Yes, I have used it for business networking... got a few design projects via FB!

Probably. All true - perhaps.

I still don't like it.

Oh... how I miss TV! :(
And the habit of watching it!

And now even my laptop acts up... I think, I would be put off larger screens for ever!

BTW, there is this feature called 'Calendar' on your SMART phone (well on almost every phone, I guess). That does a pretty decent job of remembering bdays and anniversaries.

Considering you already have a FaceBook account, you may want to import the FaceBook Calendar onto your phone's calendar and then keep it in sync with your Google calendar.

Just in case someone DOES pull the plug on FB.

Each to his own...

And there is nothing to like... or hate for that matter... it is just another means of communication (all this is purely my POV).

Interesting.
Given that the usual argument you present(ed) when I said anything about your Photoframe was - 'look at this big screen' .

:D

Hmmm... a li'l offended that you think I am that dumb!

But, you think I have the time (or the inclination) to add the b'days & anniversaries of my friends to my phone's calendar manually???
I, of course, synced FB with it... that way people update their own b'days n anniversaries!

Again... how much of a bimbette do you think I am? :P
