The reason for this is - There was this mallu flick Chandramukhi / Nagavalli nonsense.
Now everyone was making a big deal about how awesome the film was and how the lead actress gave a mind blowing performance (for which - apparently she even won an award).
Curious as I am, just had to watch it. And I did. A couple of times actually. I couldn't notice anything awesome about the film or about the performance. But what I did notice was Mohan Lal's pathetic dialogue delivery for this one English sentence in the film.
Mohan Lal goes " I Yum going to brraakkke aaall conventionalll conccceptssss of psychiatrrrrryyyyyy"
I am not sure if I could spell it out correctly, but if anyone has watched the film - they would know what I meant. Well... If you saw him in one of his army flicks you would be praising his english... Cos his hindi could trigger a seizure... Actual Dialogue in a movie - "Meim Thumhaare ilaakke meim aakke thumhem maaroonga!"

Havent seen them buy ciggies for anyone. Don't make an issue when there isn't one. The point is - it's part of their job description to go out and buy things. Sandwich, coke, ciggie - irrelevant. Seriously.. didn't think some thing this trivial needed an explanation. I mean - it's not like you are asking her to go buy you a pack of condoms or something! (Please note - I don't think there would be anything wrong even if someone did ask her to get a pack of condoms - but it might be embarrassing for the maid or for the person making the request. Hence - being reluctant could be justified).
